English Language Support Sessions

Tuesdays, 9:00am – 10:00am

This is an offer that is open to all employees at WU wishing to receive individual English language support from an English language specialist trainer for various everyday matters.

You are free to choose whether you want to meet in person (D2.3.250) or virtually (MS Teams or Zoom).

Content

Areas of support include the following:

• Practicing English-language situations arising from your day-to-day work in a relaxed environment
• Help in producing texts or presentations in English
• Individual feedback on your own English pronunciation and also, should you wish, in further feedback sessions on a one-to-one basis
• Going through an English pitch or a short presentation together
• Feedback on English course materials
• Understanding (advanced-level) correspondence or texts
• etc.

Fees and Registration

You can sign up for one (or more) 30-minute time slot(s) via Termino. These appointments are private, confidential and for free. Bookings can also be made at short notice.

In order to keep the format open and spontaneous, the Personnel Development team waives the usual standard deductible and cancellation fees. Nevertheless, if you are unable to attend on the date you have chosen, please ensure that you cancel your registration by yourself via Termino.
