Beschreibung

If you feel like your English is already at a very high level but you would like to have the chance to speak it on a more regular basis, and in so doing further improve your fluency and linguistic competence, then this is the workshop for you.

Previous participants of this course are also welcome to join.

Goals

By attending the regular weekly sessions you will be able to:

  • Strengthen your ability to speak spontaneously on a number of topical issues
  • Learn to recognise and use sophisticated language
  • Expand your vocabulary covering a wide range of content
  • Develop your ability to summarise and express potentially complex ideas and information in a variety of spoken contexts

Content

  • Each lesson will cover a different topical subject designed to stimulate discussion and debate.
  • The lessons will involve a variety of communicative tasks and media inputs.
  • An emphasis will be placed on individual needs, both regarding the topics covered and individual feedback.
  • By keeping the group size small, each participant will have ample opportunity to contribute in a relaxed and constructive atmosphere.
