Description

This course is for you if you want to refresh your English skills by practicing the four skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), improving fluency through regular practice, enhancing proficiency in grammar, and extending your range of vocabulary. I will use an interactive approach to enhance motivation and participation, focus on participants’ individual needs and use a variety of media and exercise types to provide a stimulating learning environment.
Please note that this workshop also addresses the needs of participants of previous “upper-intermediate” courses.

Goals

This course aims to:

  • Provide practice opportunities for learners to interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity.
  • Develop language skills to be able to explain viewpoints on topical issues giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
  • Build confidence to master specific situations in English required by your field of work.

Content

In the first few sessions, participants will select a number of topics and/or skills that the group is interested in focusing on this semester.
